Dr. Andrew Shorb joined York ENT Associates in July 2006. He is board-certified in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery. He specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of all aspects of adult and pediatric ear, nose, and throat disorders. In particular, Dr. Shorb focuses on nasal and sinus surgery, voice and airway disorders, hearing loss and ear surgery, as well as surgical techniques for obstructive sleep apnea. Dr. Shorb, along with Dr. Brian Flowers, has established York ENT Associates as a prolific center for hypoglossal nerve stimulation to treat moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnea (INSPIRE Sleep). Dr. Shorb graduated magna cum laude/Phi Beta Kappa from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. He earned SEC Academic Honor Roll from 1995-1997 and was recognized as the Vanderbilt Male Student-Athlete of the year (Cross Country) in 1997. After graduation, he attended Penn State University College of Medicine in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Dr. Shorb delivered the 2001 College of Medicine Commencement Address and graduated as a member of the AOA Medical Honors Society. Dr. Shorb completed his residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Professional memberships include: American Academy of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery, Pennsylvania Academy of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery, Pennsylvania Medical Society and the York County Medical Society. Dr. Shorb is a native of York, Pennsylvania where he now resides with his wife and two children.
